so I've also finished the top with the Alexander Henry fabric squares. In the second borders as I have additional colors orange, green and light yellow was added. Looks kind of living, I think.

For the friend of a friend I will sew a small blanket for the sofa. Toile de Jouy fabrics were desired. And it should fit on a brown sofa. And please, no blue and no roses. Well, I've picked like blazes the remains of the crate decorative fabrics Sun The patches are obviously quite large, the models and the thickness of the material is not, however, different. I will sew a bright binding, I think we'll see how the part looks like the quilt.

repeatedly draws us to the Sunday flea market. Today was a very close here. Since I have this Garnsortiment Ackermann from the 70s found. The cardboard box was used as a display for the Nähseidenröllchen held by a semi-high clear plastic strips in the subjects. I find the part so pretty, I'll as a decoration to the Wall hanging. Remove from time to time if necessary, a roll I can anyway.

I was pretty busy this week and have completed two tops for kids quilts. Tomorrow is the Ivory Nähtreff Quilter, I'll try the third top, where I work, also get added yet. I'm going to try to do not talk as much and instead more to sew.

Yesterday I was at in Kelkheim the Kellerquiltern to sew together. It's always nice to meet old and new friends and something to work together if it is, of course, talked too much. And eat well! With a bit of reworking but at least now I have a new top attempt it for a donation quilt.
The next Saturday is also very nice, as I meet with the Elfenbeinquiltern Erbach in our first Nähsamstag the new year. I'm looking forward very much!

Quilts for Kids

On two new quilt I'm working since yesterday. The
Eulenstöffchen had now finally be processed again. Because the motives quite large , I can only cut larger blocks with owls, plus I make nine blocks transferred from the kleingemustertem materials.

The two fabrics from Alexander Henry I in patches 15x15 cm cut and edged. Color me but this is still a little too depressing, I will sew a second edge in other colors.

Before I forget: on Sunday had the best of husbands birthday.
I baked him a cake Red Riding Hood. The inspiration for that I got from our friend Fenna. Very tasty!

The new year begins with an old UFO

fortunately I still am in East Friesland, my choice is somewhat limited in UFOs. Some of which are more at home in several boxes. Resolutions for the new year are stupid I know. I've still made me, once again bring a few projects to end, like this "Leaves Quilt".
is now seen before, what could come of it. This sample book pages from decorative fabrics I've been around for a few years time to time in the hand. Last year I Applis from Scraps in the form of leaves (of trees!) Finally finished off. Since then, the project was again in deep sleep.

Yesterday I sewed all 77 parts in a corner at two edges of strips. If it tonight, what is exciting on the box, I could probably fix it, the parts together into a quilt top.
